Accomplishments

Blake Moore has built one of the most effective records of any member of Congress in his class. He has passed significant legislation, secured wins for Utah families and small businesses, protected Hill Air Force Base, strengthened America’s supply chains, advanced conservation priorities, and delivered millions of dollars in federal investments for northern Utah communities.

His work has earned national recognition, including being named the 2025 Best of Constituent Service winner by the Congressional Management Foundation.

LEGISLATION SIGNED INTO LAW


  • Blake has advanced key provisions that keep America safe and support servicemembers and their families.

    • Provisions for Hill Air Force Base (FY25 NDAA)

      • Secured significant military construction funding, Sentinel program support, protections for KC-135 tankers, new supply chain responsibilities for Air Force depots, and quality of life improvements for military families.

    • Hazardous Duty Tax Relief

      • Provided income tax exemption for servicemembers deployed in dangerous regions, including the Sinai Peninsula and Sahel.

    • Afghanistan Accountability Act (provisions in NDAA)

      • Required an examination of failures surrounding the Afghanistan withdrawal to strengthen future decision-making.

  • Blake is improving access to public lands while protecting Utah’s natural resources.

    • MAPLand Act

      • Digitized federal land access data to help hunters, anglers, hikers, and recreationists navigate public lands.

    • MAPWaters Act

      • Standardizes and modernizes waterway access data so anglers and boaters can easily understand rules, restrictions, and access points.

    • Range Access Act

      • Increases the availability of free public shooting ranges on federal lands and supports conservation through Pittman Robertson funding.

    • Saline Lake Ecosystems Act

      • Created a scientific monitoring program to help protect the Great Salt Lake and other western saline lakes.

  • Blake is working to strengthen families and expand opportunity for children.

    • Money Accounts for Growth and Advancement Act

      • Created early life investment accounts to promote financial literacy and long-term savings for American children.

    • Charitable Act

      • Reinstated a charitable deduction for non-itemizers so Utahns who tithe or donate can benefit even while taking the standard deduction.

    • Court Improvement Program Enhancement Act

      • Improved child welfare court processes, remote hearing capacity, and foster and adoption case safeguards.

    • Small Business Growth Act

      • Increased Section 179 expensing to $2.5 million to help small businesses purchase equipment, hire workers, and expand operations.

    • Better Cybercrime Metrics Act

      • Improved federal tracking and reporting of cybercrime to protect families and businesses.

    • National Medal of Honor Monument Act

      • Authorized the construction of a national monument in Washington to honor fewer than 4,000 Medal of Honor recipients.

    • Modernizing Access to Our Public Land (MAPLand) Act

      • Expanded and standardized outdoor access data for millions of land users nationwide.
